We have tiger lilies here but NONE of them of this many spots! They are soo beautifully captured!! The colour is amazing isnt it?!..I kinda wish you had moved over to the left a tiny bit more and gotten the tips, the dark part, of the stamens on the one on the right...that way you would have gotten a frontal view and a side vies of them...but no matter waht, it is and excellent shot..

Hey BB .. the current voting system should not be a discouragement to you. I can't for the life of me, see why people would vote 3's on this image but you'll need to acknowledge those who voted 6-7-8-9's for balance.
I'm still strong on the view that there should NOT be voting on images. It is much more prudent to simply have a box that indicates "I like this image", then present the count of the # of people who clicked the box. If someone is too lazy or doesn't like the image, just don't click it. Any photo critiques (good or bad) can be left in comments. Any negative comments that the weak try to leave with their identity veiled will simply stop. If there's something negative to say, say it in your comments on the image or by PM. THIS will eliminate the voting grief while giving the image mods an indicator of the # of images that people "liked" (really what the site is for ... good wallpapers that people like).
But ...that's just me and my 2 cents.
I liked this image BB ...and voted accordingly.

I love this image and the composition. Great clarity, color and DOF. Thanks for sharing this. BTW I have also opted no longer to partake in the VB as it appears that the voting crowd haven't much of a clue or cannot be bothered to take the time. I have to agree with Rob's comments above to that regard.
