A shot from an evening towards the end of the summer before last. I always think it's odd how the rainbow seems to split the sky into 2 colours. The pot of gold, being behind the church, is either in the graveyard (spooky!) or, more likely, the river... blasted leprechauns. Unfortunately the photo is a bit blurred, but I'll put that down to inexperience... (not that I'm any better now). As for the gallery I wasn't sure where to put it as it could be landscape, sky or even places of worship.

I'm with everyone, I love rainbows. When I was little I always used to try and chase them to see if I could ever get my hands on the pot of gold. A true observation about the rainbow splitting the colors of the sky, and then then seemingly fading off into the night sky. Beautiful shot, wonderful colors, superb lighting. Fantastic job.
Oh and the blurriness adds the the fading effect of the rainbow, so I personally think it added to the shot instead of detracting from it. But thats just my opinion.

Wow!!! what a joy! It looks like the rainbow is falling from the sky to earth. I'm sure you must have enjoyed taking this picture. Great one :)
