Beautiful capture. It will be many years before I see such a sight in person, thanks for sharing. I like the soft focus, lighting, and the angle you chose. Missed the sentiment "Always stuck in the moment" in the VB it adds a nice touch and is very subtly placed. 10/10

From quiet homes and first beginning, Out to the undiscovered ends, There's nothing worth the wear of winning, But laughter and the love of friends.

Normally, when I see a posting of a scene like this, with a road running through it, I think "I don't want to see man's intrusion into nature! ("We doan need no stinkin' asphalt" - as heard in the movie "Blazing Saddles.") I want to see the nature!" But in this case, the road is essential. You centered it (something that is seldom done), pulling it straight away from us, making it a focal point and a point-of-origin for us, the viewer. It has more color in it than the rest of the image, giving the image a solid foundation in that the forest has something to attach to, something that takes the loose monochromatic character of the trees and gives them body, an opposite effect of the Orton, but one that helps to enhance the Orton. And the opening in the trees and the matching turn of direction in the road are both slightly off-center, giving us a taste of symmetry and then pulling it away from us at the last moment. Lastly, although the image is rather free-flowing, the frame brings it all together in a cohesive image. There is so much more going on here than just a photo of some trees. I hope everyone who sees it takes the time to study it thoroughly. I just saw it in the VB and I gave it a much-deserved 10. An excellent post that is now residing in my favorites file. Thanks for sharing it.
