A little commemorative place of worship dedicated to the founders of a little town called Cullman. The Early settlers led by Kernal Kullman came in to the region long ago. They were German people and I remember when I was just a little child hearing some of their descendents who were old at the time speaking primarily German. Lots of German names in the phone book for this area.

Aside from the beautiful architecture which really frames the stainded glass window well, the overal scene is picutesque. I like your reflection bouncing out of the glass behind the pulpit, as if there were a ghost preacher there. Just one thing I would have done differently if possible: if you could have stood on something to shoot downward so that the pulpit stand doesn't cut into the glass. That interruption creates a certain antagonism in the image. Maybe you could play around with it in PS and do some reconstruction for fun? Just a thought. Realy cool shot and beautiful chapel. Thanks for sharing. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Love this image Frank ... Very pleasing to look at. I do find your reflection a bit of a spoiler to that beautiful stained glass. Otherwise it's a marvelous picture.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

This reminds me of here, I grew up in a small town and the churches always had such beautiful stained glass windows. I love the reflection in the window, very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty little chapel. Lots of Germans migrated to Alabama, eh?
