What a lovely capture of this lotus. The composition and the shading is truly great. It's wonderful full screen...a keeper for sure. Thanks for sharing this. Anita

A nice sharp image with good contrast and detail. Also shot from a good angle as well. What an interesting and beautiful flower the lotus is. I don't think I've ever seen one live. I'm told they have a wonderful fragrance also, yes? anne :-)

I HAVE to be picky! Otherwise my flower collection will overwhelm me. So I look for excuses not to download, and here I found one: the brown edges at the left.
Go for perfection is what I say. Nevertheless, this is a splendid piece of photography and an unusually pretty image. Your angle is original and effective. The lighting seems perfect. You've caught all the details. The colors add to its exotice and romantic feel.
