You've achieved a 3-D look, alright, although it does't seem spherical. (That's probably intentinonal?) And you've given it a glossy, glassy look. The reflection is also quite nice, and the blue gradient is yummy.

So for your first attempt, I'd definitely call it a success! I look forward to your follow-ups.

This is really super!

This is beautiful Frank. It has a very oriental feel to it with the bird and your choice of colors. I think it might mave more impact with just the bowl portion and not the top of the sphere. I had to keep looking at it to make sense out of that part - but I love the bowl part - like a little garden. The reflection is super. Really gorgeous. Into my faves. anne :-)
