Using filter effects and blend modes sometimes you can save pictures that otherwise would find their way to the delete zone. Using pictures that has a majority of the image detail but less than desirable sharpness. Such is the case with this image . I had high expectations for a beautiful flower but when enlarged only to find that the focus was off. So using imagination with Photoshop's help I have attempted a more artistic approach to revive a dead work.

You know, those were words of wisdom that I need to heed more often. I can't tell you how many photos went the way of the delete key because I didn't find them worthy of my time and effort. I need to let reality drop a little and find what beauty I can in what I have...thanks for reminding me :)PJ

I love the brilliant colors in this. Don't denigrate your blurred shots because you know how to turn them into art work. I

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Frank, your imagination paid off in this artistic rendition. I would have taken it as a painting by a Master :) - Patty

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus
