A storm is brewing and the wind is blowing. Hold on to your hat. I used Project Dogwaffle to create this little painting. The program is a freeware and has some fine features for those who might not afford a more powerful graphics program for the time being. It gives you a nice array of brushes and presets. Some of the features are not as user friendly as I would like them to be such as selection tools. But it is a fun little program.

How fun this is. Love the breeze whipping around the leaves and those dark clouds overhead. Nicely done.

How nice of you to bring us yet another program to use and recommend that's inexpensive, as the higher end ones can get to be a bit pricey and hit the old wallet pretty hard. This is a very light and fun post, Frank and I'm very glad you made it and shared it. It would make a great desktop, and I hearld your eye for art :)PJ

I really like the way you've done your tree and leaves in this image. The clouds are also nicely done. The only thing that isn't working for me is the darkness of the clouds. They look more like smoke from a raging forest fire. I would lighten them significantly for a more cohesive overall effect. Does that make sense? anne :-)
