Real neat. and a great title. The out of focus background brings everything into focus..

Your clarity is great, Frank, and the colors are very nicely meshed to give room for the liquid gold color of the sap to shine through. I like the composition to the extent that it brings the viewer's eye upward in a diagonal sweep, and the light green touch of the moss also adds to the presentation. However, I think that your subject might be better served if you cropped in on it a little bit more so that it would still remain off to the the left, as it is now, but just so that the drip of sap would not be overpowered by the other complimentary, but nonessential factors in the upload. In my humble opinion, as always, but I'd like to get a little closer to your subject. :)PJ .............lol...I just blew it up to a 1600x1200 view here, and it turned out almost exactly as I had envisioned it cropped :)PJ

Wonderful title for this great shot Frank. Nice focus on your subject with the background perfectly blurred. Excellent detail and lighting on this one. Although the "underbelly" is dark, it directs the eye to the focal point. Well done my friend. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
