Well, I like the mood the picture brings, but I'm not all that crazy about the frame for this reason: it tends, in my humble opinion, to steal some of the color thunder from the subject itself. At first I thought that it was the image just blown up to surround the gold lines (which I do like btw). If this were mine I'd try a different, complimentary color for the frame. My two cents' worth :)PJ
