Here's an interesting little flower that I wanted to try a different approach to. Tell me what you think about it. I do hope you like it.

I like the background here and especially like the "spotlight" effect on that flower. The sharp contrast here can't help but catch the eye. It appears on my screen as though the focus on center of the flower is sharp and ever so slightly turns softer at the petal tips. Maybe that's how you planned it ... maybe it's my screen ... or maybe I just need a visit to my optometrist ... Whatever, it's a dandy appraoch Frank.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

It truly does what it advertises...blossoms out to meet us from that great variegated blurred background. I am impressed, Frank. I wouldn't have thought that this could work so well, but you've done it !!!!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
