I have read that abstract art or abstract expressionism came into prominence in the 1940's and the 1950's. It started in New York breaking away from the European influence of painting styles. It was called action painting. My art is influenced by a fractal program called Apophysis.

Beautiful Frank! And if you could have been able to use the older versions of Apop you would have liked it even better! You could do a lot more with those! Continue the superb work!!!
