The bird would proceed quite differently I think. In case of definite refusal, it would get up in the air, aim and shoot !:)

You just have to allocate one pocket for snacks. Nice shot, Frank. Think you cropped it a bit too tight though. Subjects in motion need more space in their direction of travel so the viewer's eyes aren't immediately drawn out of the picture.
