Diminutive in size and brevity of life but it speaks volumes...what a capture!...beautiful shot, Frank, in fact, rather profound...I definitely would consider this one for the current contest, and with spring being a short season and you also have the return of insect life here as well it all kinda' fits...think about it...meantime, a fave for me.

Oh, I love this. The simplicity of the subject is stunning! Your poetic description is lovely. The flower is a Mouse Ears Dayflower in the Spiderwort family. I have them in my garden.
