I worked this afternoon on getting better at drawing facial features...the eye to be exact. Started my sketch on 75lb. premium paper acid-free lignin-free using a .9 mechanical pencil for the basic drawing. I used an HB Daler Rowney lead pencil for some basic shading switching to a Dowler Rowney soft charcoal pencil for darker areas. Periodically using a blending stump to blend darker areas. Finally using a Blue Hawk small stencil brush to lightly add value. Also used an eraser to add some highlights. Tell me what you think so far. I certainly hope I'm getting better.

---Tell me what you think so far.---

I almost had said: "Striving for perfection", Frank, but I realized that this one is already perfect! (so perfectly done, ☺)
