I decided to draw a dog for the benefit of Tick. He said he was more of a dog lover. And here is a movie for you ' The case of the missing donut holes'. My Dad had some wiener dogs and sure loved them.
The Wiener dog, aka Dachshund is in my country called: 'Tekkel'.
In my childhood days I've learned this Dutch poem:
Takko Tekkel is een hond die altijd klein zal blijven. Er zijn mensen in dit land die daar de spot mee drijven. Dat Takko korte poten heeft en lange oren, daar kan hij niets aan doen, want zo is hij geboren.
The English translation sounds:
Takko Dachshund is a dog that will always be small. There are people in this country who make fun of that. That Takko has short legs and long ears, it can't help it, because that's how he was born.

An Aunt and Uncle of mine had 2 of these 'Wiener's....They were 'Yappy wee sods'...!!....I got a 'Telling-Off' from my Aunt one day when I sat on one, which was sleeping under a cushion!...Needless to say...They didn't like me much from then on!!...😁😊😋...Brilliant Sketch-work..
I never owned any wiener dogs but I had a Chocolate Lab.
Super drawing.
