Great shot Ivan, what is the size you are photographing at with the camera? The sharpness when viewed at the lower sizes is much better, I am wondering if perhaps your camera settings are adjusted to a smaller image?

I am shooting in raw but when i captured the little guy i only had a few seconds to react. at the time i had the apeture set to low and i wasn't focused on his face just his body. I probably needed a larger f stop for this picture but as i said i had no time to make adjustments i was shooting chickadees at the time which are much smaller and don't require larger f stops to get full detail.

well.. this is definitely one to make you smile! I love it!

I love this it's like he is trying to tell you something. Great shot! I think you caught him excellent with the blurred background there is no distraction and he is in perfect focus. His eyes and emotion really show how he feels. It made me smile. :)
