This woodpecker and his mate were feeding their young in the hollow of the tree. I had the opportunity to spend a good deal of time setting up in just the right position to get the right shot and the bird were more than willing to cooperate.

Hi Ivan...not too bad, I find when it is opened in the larger sizes though, that the subject seems out of focus! Keep trying, I would love to see more of these from you!

Spring has sprung :)
This is a great shot - as these guys don't hang around for pictures.
There was a family of 3 little ones the other day (August at least) that flocked through the garden, but not long enough to pose for a picture. You did real well with this one.
