Kennedy Beach is just south of Mission Beach in Tropical North Queensland. We hove in on our tinny (small aluminium boat) and crossed the beach to have lunch. If you look closely in the sand, you'll see that there are several sets of prints: a kangaroo and a cassowary (at least); no humans. While I was there, I walked back 15m behind the beach only to find that there was an enormous clearing, obviously for a residential subdivision so this unspoilt place won't last much longer. Progress, I guess ...
