This shot was taken in an Indian Palace. The whole room was intricately carved out of marble and inlay with semi-precious stones and small mirrors. Hope you agree that this shot gives you a taste. Hope you like it.

As usual with your pictures of Indian art, craft, architecture...I come away with a sense of awe for the immense time, patience, concentration, and skill that was invested in this sort of overwhelming display. And then to realize that it is only a small part of the whole.

The intricacies of the mosaics are mind boggling. You've show a great cross section of the many patterns. Quite awe inspiring.
