Taken with a Canon 7D and the new Tamron SP 70-300 f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Lens..First time out with this and I'm quite pleased with it's performance.The Old timbers in the foreground,are from old vessels left to rot...

Excellent image Richie. The lighting and clarity are superb. The birds are a bonus and the sky looks as though it was painted by a great artist.

so you got your 7D. i hope you get a great deal of enjoyment from it. why the tamron lens and not the 70-300 canon. anyway the lighting on this one is fabulous. love the shot.

At first glance, it looks like some painted this scene. Fantastic shot, Richie! The almost surreal sky adds some real drama to the scene.
