What focal length was this taken at? Looks pretty good. I have been considering that lens also. Nice detail in the feathers, and good color too.

The lens really gives you the ability to reach out and bring these little critters to full screen Count B. Wonderful detail. I would be interested in the focal length as well.

A terrific shot, Richie! This lens seems to be a fine piece of glass. The image is beautifully sharp and the colors and DOF are outstanding. Excellent camera work and very nice composition. I like this shot a lot. Well done!

Richie, you are going to love that lens. Mine has been attached to my camera all winter long ... just for the birdies. I like the detail you captured on this colorful bird. Excellent DOF too. I'd say you have the new lens mastered.
