Summerhill Force is my favourite waterfall to photograph. It's located in a small wooded and rocky amphitheatre close to Low Force in Teesdale..I'm not a lover of very slow shutter speeds,Normally 1/8th sec is my max..This was taken at 1/30th sec f/22,So that detail is shown in the fall..Canon 7D and the cheapo 18-55 IS Lens.....

This is one of those just waiting for you to work your midnight editing magic on Count B. It looks great just like this as well.
The light makes it really special. Thanks for the settings info.

I'm not much of a photographer but I'm with you on the overly slow shutter speed with respect to moving water. This is a very interesting shot with the interplay of the rock strata & the shadows & just the right amount of movement in the waterfall.

Summerhill Force, Bowlees Beck, Low Force, Teesdale. Fascinating place names, like something out of a fantasy novel.

Great photograph, however! The patterns of sunlight and shadows on the rocks are very nice, and I love the bright green moss. A beautiful spot, Richie!

Same here...a 'too' slow shutter leaves an image 'milky' which is false in my eyes!...

You done good again.....~He says grudgingly!~

What charming falls dropping down into a pool with the trees branches hanging over the edge. I like the rocks and bright green mossy areas behind the waterfall. No wonder you like it so much it is gorgeous Richie!

You sure got the water perfect. A little bit dark the rest of it, for me.
