Northumberland is bordered to the North by the Cheviot hills and to the West The Pennine chain..This to a certain extent takes the sting out the most severe weather..The Lakes in western England getting the worst weather..This is the Hartshope valley North Northumberland,There's a couple of waterfalls up here which I'm going to try and find..One I believe is pretty easy.The other more remote...R.

Every time I see Northumberland, I think someone has deleted a C, Count B. Magnificent shot and a true keeper. I am especially impressed with the lighting. 2 Fums up!

That place hasn't changed in 40 years!! it's exactly how I remember it when I was a kid.. spent many Sunday's up there having family picnics in the Summer.. Great capture of light and shadow.. love the clouds.. thank you for bringing back lovely memories for me..
