Excuse me for pointing out the obvious, Richie, but why would you gate a road that has no access? Unless you have some sort of hovercraft or one of those funky car-boats from the early 60's, how do you make the transition from road to creek? I guess I'll assume that the water is not that deep or that everyone in that area drives military amphibious assault ships.
