I like the natural deep colors and this has your trademark depth to boot.

First of all, the composition is flawless. Personally I like how you've handled the various limbs and twigs and kept the focus on the bird. Something looks different in the editing as if this is a pastel drawing. Whatever you did works well. The post photo work keeps the bird at the forefront and makes the twigs - even those in the foreground - as secondary to the subject. Fine work, Richie.
