This is Scotswood a suburb at the west end of Newcastle..The chimney you see is Victorian and was a pumping station for the underground resevoir it stands on..The pumps are now electric..Picture taken with my Fuji X-S1 at maximum zoom + 2x digital about 1100mm handheld..I also took the shot through my kitchen window...R.

What a good zoom in this is, the sky really adds to your capture, good color, details and I don't see any noise in the sky, but there is a slight ??? above the one tree right center.

Wonderful sky, beautiful details, splendid colors, fascinating subject matter, interesting perspective. That glorious brick smoke stack would last about a month in California with all of our earthquakes. There's very little brick in the county since the seismic building statutes make it almost impossible for a brick structure to pass muster. During the last big quake, my adobe brick house, tile roof and tiled floors suffered serious damage. Brick and tiles just don't bend very well. Nonetheless, this shot is a beauty. A fave for me.
