Of St Marys Lighthouse..Crossed the causeway and descended the rocky cliffs..I Took to shooting RAW with the Pentax K-5 and converting in PS.Although the camera allows for internal conversion..Sun's out after our horrendous storm. So took the oppurtunity for a half day out..R.

Beautiful, Richie. Such wonderful detail. Did you use much in the way of post processing or the same as you would have with the Canon?

Do you think you'll try the RAW conversion in camera just to see how it compares?

Nice shot from this angle and good lighting too. That looks like rough territory that you went down to.

I can't see one thing to bitch about, Richie. After eating supper at McDonald's, I have a goofed up stomach and am in a rotten mood. I had hoped that I could take aim at your shot and fire away with a series of unprintable comments, but there's nothing to critique.

Whoa!!!! Wait a second. Check out the bit of blue sky on the far right. Is that little nearly invisible dark mark a smudge on your lens? Beauty of a shot which has been completely altered and thrown out of whack by that unseemly blotch. You have cajones to post such trash. :-)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It seems like a Middle-Earth view for some reason. The Elven tower where Cirdan the shipwright lived no doubt. Faved.
