I think you need another hard rain. The river looks dried up! LOL. Great looking shot, Biff.

Richie - As Sandi notes, the image has a story book feel - very nice. There is a peaceful tone, with the surrounding trees and foreground grass-banked stream. The swans complete the serenity sense. Very well done! Thad

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Your photos, Richie, are typically my daily geography lesson. For example, I had no idea that there was so much beautiful open land in Britain. I guess I thought everybody lived in London. While I've never been to London, I naturally assumed that London was densely populated like Hong Kong, Tokyo or Singapore. But since I've never been to Hong Kong, Tokyo or Singapore, I am basing my opinion on no factual or even first hand information. You'd think that I'd vote Republican being as ignorant as I am, but you just can't tell a book by its cover any more than you can watch time fly.

When I saw the clouds, I thought this might be a shot taken during your recent flash floods, but the stream doesn't reflect a heavy rainfall. This is a beautiful scene wonderfully captured.
