Trying out high ISO settings on my Pentax K-30..This is at ISO 1600.No noise reduction software used,Only camera default..The lens was dirt cheap too..A Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro..Cheapskate that I am....R.
Clear as a bell and a cute critter. Nice work - but as I have said to you before what is behind the lens is a big factor in getting such great rsults. :)

I would suggest using a tiny mouth gag to cut down on the noisy grey. As for the photo, someone nailed it before you had a chance to snap the shot. Good composition, colours and textures in the photo.
