The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
Richie, I thought by the kind of helmet and the riffle (possibly a Lee Enfield one?) that it was an allied soldier, but I'm not an expert like you are.
