Load of old Cobblers....R.
(To Cobbler) You, sir, what trade are you?
Cobbler
Truly, sir, in respect of a fine workman, I am but,
as you would say, a cobbler.
Marullus
But what trade art thou? Answer me directly.
Cobbler
A trade, sir, that, I hope, I may use with a safe
conscience; which is, indeed, sir, a mender of bad soles.”
Another excellent picture, Richie!
With that respect, I've read different phrases on the net:
-a load of old cobblers;
-I heard some rumors but I knew they were absolute cobblers;
-Her claim that he supported terrorists was total cobblers;
-He told us that he was related to the king, but that was cobblers;
-We assured our boss that the report was cobblers and luckily, she believed us;.
-I watched the first part of the show, and it was a load of old cobblers.
But when I view your, perfectly done, creation, in this occasion there's only one possibility: someone whose job is to make or repair shoes.
Although there are many cobblers busy at this carriage, they've plenty of work.
However, I hope they've found a way to remember who owns a pair of shoes, 😁 .
Thanks for the smile, 👍 !
