Excellent depiction of a gold rush city. Like the early days of Deadwood. Your skill has shown itself again!

Your presentation of this scene is very well thought out, it is almost as if you were part of the history of the gold rush and knew exactly every aspect of it. Excellent.

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

Perfectly portrayed. There are the remains of old gold rush sites in several parts of the lower South Island of NZ. The hardships must have been terrible, especially for those that never struck it rich.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
