I'm surprised no one has commented on this beauty. You really did choose and excellent time to take this picture as well. Sun rises to the east, sets to the west. So... it's around twilight right? Anyway, the soft sky against the rolling ocean looks completely surreal. Like paradise. The smooth sand makes me envious. And the sand rock covered with holes really characterizes this picture. Shows what the ocean can do. There are so many aspects of this picture that stun me. I can't really see anything more you can improve on it either. Ashley

I gave it 10 points, since this is an outstanding photo. Perfect lighting, dark objects are very well distinguishable and water is looking alive. One can feel the warmth of the air.

I got to see this in the VB! You've not only captured a wonderful sunset, but a special liquidity of the water. I wish I was sitting on the rocks watching this myself. Santa Cruz is a wonderful place to visit! lauren
