This is a canyon close to pueblo Co.. The gold trains used to run through this canyon. It is 27 miles long with 25 miles of curve in it. It is one of those out of the way places you have to have nerve to drive because of the roads and cliffs. It recieved its name because a gold train coming from Victoria supposably disapeared and was never seen again.

Great scene and it does give the perception of height. Maybe it is looking down at the treetops. lol. As far as the train disappearing they should have followed its tracks. Good post BTK.

It looks very rugged and it gives me the feeling that the scale is immense. I feel like a bird looking down at all of it.
