This is a veterans cemetary honoring those brave men and women who served our country with honor and courage. It is located in Fayetteville Arkansas and has veterans from the civil war all the way through the war in the middle east. To all of those of you who fought in the war and to all the families who have lost thier sons and daughters. I salute you and God bless.

I picked my son up at the airport today. He is home on leave from Fort Drum, New York where he is a proud member of the Army's 10th Mountain. It will be the last time I see him before he leaves for Iraq in January.

This post was faved and immediately turned into my desktop. A lovely, lovely post and a fitting tribute to those that have fallen.

A brief aside - shame about the trash can to the left, it takes away just a bit from the over all effect.

My father served in WWII, and my husband served in the Vietnam era... I honor them and all who have and are still serving. Beautiful tribute, Billy.

Great work on this one BTK. There shouldn't be a day that passes that those who died for our freedom shouldn't be recognized.

Great work. I salute them and you.

Wonderfully great! I also have one of these not to far from my house not as full as yours it seems. Like it with the flag in the picture.

A touching tribute to those who give the ultimate sacrifice. The flag is beautifully super-imposed without dominating the image...an excellent post...Jacquie
