Another shot of the Cape Girardeau bridge. I like the black and white. It gives the river a whole new mood, I hope you all enjoy.

B&W is perhaps my favorite medium of all. I love the concept of this one...not quite sure it works here though. A coupld of quick notes. A difficult perspective to capture from, the cock-eyed light poles on the bridge itself distract me, and the sky in the foreground is particularily blown out.
On the flip side, I love the look of the water and the gentle sweep of the bridge draws the eye in and gives good DOF.
All in all - mixed feelings, but great potential!

But the image looks washed out, & over sharpened to me, while the sky is overexposed.

I like this in B+W.To me its a little too soft.I would prefer more contrast and darker highlights.The composition is just fine..
