This cave was on the mountain I climbed in 6 mile canyou. I started in then I thought about running into a mountain lion or hibernating bear and did not figure either one to be to good natured about it. So I quietly backed out and took this picture instead.(I think I finally used good sense) Hope you all enjoy it.

I gave this well deserved high marks in VB Billy. I also wanted to tell you I really liked your Manti Temple photo. It was a superb capture of this temple. Nice work indeed.

I'll echo that... Wise choice! It looks like an excellent den for some large critter and the countryside is certainly wild enough to have critters. I like the image with its textures and the subtle and varied colors of the boulders...

How intriguing! I might've taken a few steps inside also, just to see if it led to caverns in the center of the earth, or maybe had some ancient cave art inside. I'd probably have found a discarded plastic water bottle and an irate bear! Hopefully you can go back and look around more when the winter boarders have cleared out.

My husband and I visited a place in Hocking Hills, Ohio that has caverns and canyons and beautiful colors...We had a similar experience, except whatever it was in the cavern, was making warning noises. I wasn't into taking photos at the time but since it is a beautiful place to visit, I will probably go back. Fran
