I come across this on one of my hikes in Utah. It really was beautiful and was the first time I drank out of a river that was pure and so cold it hurt my throat.

Great picture- I like the contrast between the snow and the dry shrub. The last time I drank from a pure river was in '88 on my uncle's ranch in Ohio- nothing tastes so good!

I think this river would be much better in spring or summer, but it's not bad in winter, neither. It's only colder. And with snow... But the short is nice, good job.

Glad to see the photo finally made it. Good post BTK. I hate to tell you but that was a rock you swallowed that hurt your throat. The stream is full of them. lol.
