A beauty of a shot BTK. The water is really blue in the colder months. I like the fork in the river you chose for your vantage point. That looks like it could be a golf course on the right. Maybe just a bit over-saturated, but a very fine post.

Hi All, if you see my initials on you latest upload you will know that I have had a good look at your photo, but at the moment, I'm getting over 200 friends a day, and I just cant keep up with you all, sorry, but I will look, but at times I wont be able to make many comments....No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I'm guessing what did it for you was the contrast of the golden reeds or grasses contrasting with the blue of the water. Nice view.
Was sharpening used? If so, perhaps a lighter hand might've been more effective on this type of shot.
