This is the original jail house of Dodge City and where alot of cowboys ended up after a night a the saloon. Their a two cells in the jail house and unlike marshal Dillons jail, their was no office. The cells are about 4 feet wide and 6 feet deep. No amenaties here. The jailhouse was at the highest point in town and it is where the towns people watched for the indians and bad guys that might attack the town. I hope you all enjoy.

But... But.... What did I do to end up in jail so soon. Just a couple small drinks at the Long Branch, that was all! Another great shot Billy. Enjoying this!

They still should be this way BTK. It might discourage a few people from a life of crime. Is that MrH I see in the next cell. Wake me at breakfast. Good post.

Oh my goodness Billy, I sure wouldn't want to be locked up in that one, bloody small. That's some really wonderful information to learn. Sure bet the meals weren't much, lol.

I wouldn't care to be shut up in such a tiny cell... but I'm sure they got plenty of use in the old cow town days.

Oh, creepy and wild to see! Amazing that they are so small and tight. At least the critters couldn't eat them in there or could they? You have my imagination working too hard! Nice work!

Fascinating, Billy! Love this piece of history! The cells are a lot smaller than the movies lead us to believe, aren't they?
