It is usually the bride that gets emotional. But at this wedding my new nephew is the one that could not contain tears. I know they were tears of joy and I thought it wonderful that he showed them with no shame.
What a great capture BTK. You can see the emotions pouring out. Perfect timing on this shot. I bet they love this one.
I couldn't help but think of the old TV show Here Come The Brides. There was an old captain that married a couple of his ship. He was more used to conducting the final rites at hangings. When he finished with the ceremony he said: "And may the Lord have mercy on your soul." Too funny.
So sweet and a great shot Billy! My ex son in law did the same thing. I hope your new nephew sticks around longer than my ex son in law...lol...Wonderful capture!

The emotions shown here are wonderful. I feel a bit sad tho, that I feel I should mention the extreme merger...the person behind the bride. It's a shame that had to be that way. It would have been so much more lovely if her whole face showed without the person right there. Then the outline of her pretty face would have shown so much more.Such a sweet couple. Is there a way you could maybe clone out that person?
I almost hated to point this out to you, but this is how we learn. And wedding photos are so touchey to take and such a huge responsibility too. The thought is so good tho. Verena
I never had the luck in my former career to marry a couple, but I was lucky too that I never had to pronounce the words too which Tick is saying in his comment above. Very fine work Billy. You've succeeded very well in capturing the emotions!
