I have been passing this way going home for months. I see a sign from the historical society saying St. Jacobs Well. I think pull over it might be cool. Who knew it was miles down a one lane barely passable rock road. I took this one on the way there. I had to stop and put the teeth back in my mouth that had been jared out by the so called road.

I have been down roads like BTK. I am still laughing about your teeth being jarred out. That would make a great ad for Poly Grip. The shot about jarred my eyeballs out. It is quite colorful and very well composed. It does have a sense of distance to it. A little noise in the sky but not enough to ruin this shot. Great post.

What a beautiful landscape Billy! I think your camera needs some help though buddy. The focus isn't too hot and it seems a bit over saturated. You better get super glue for your teeth...lol

I've never been to the Kansas prairie so this is fascinating to me... even with the blurry focus. I want to see more of this part of our country... ;-)

Looks like a storm was headed in. Hope you made it in and out before things got slippery on that road.. Good shot!

What a beautiful landscape of the prairie, I've never been to Kansas either. I think it's a little too much saturation and also noise in the sky.

Billy - The price one pays for a beautiful photograph! lol Imagine the frustration if you hadn't come away with this photo! It is what I envision the terrain of Kansas to be. Thad
