Hi Caedes friends. I thought I would step outside my comfort zone for a change. I hope you like it. The capitatl building was added just built in 1914 and the dome was added just a few years ago. Something of interest is that Oklahoma City was not the origninal capital of Oklahoma. The original capital was a little town about 30 miles north of Oklahoma City called Guthrie. Some of the citizens wanted the capital moved and others did not. The citizens took it upon themselves to steal the state seal from Guthrie and took it to Oklahoma City. Thats where it has been ever since. Hope you all enjoy it.

I can't get over how much your photos have improved BTK. This is so clear and vibrant. I don't know what you are doing but keep it up. The capital being stolen doesn't surprise me. It is where the great land rush was held. A great state your Oklahoma.

Very nice! So many contrasting details and textures. I like this perspective very much. I would like to see the whole statue too.
