This is a redo of Lake Murray 4. Gerome and Tigger pointed out that there was way to much saturation in it. I appreciate thier honesty. I hope this one is alittle more pleasing to the eye.

Hi Billy, this is better, the colors are more natural. The sky is so very nice as well. =^..^=Tigs

:o)

You got some good good advice from your friends, Billy. As your image here is indeed a marked improvement over your original posting.

If I may, an editing suggestion to improve the selection of the sky portion or areas:

"How To Train the Quick Selection Tool"

(Courtesy of Adobe TV.)

Video tutorial, about ten minutes in length. Grab yourself a cuppa ... and have a watch. Good good stuff.

As I can see some areas of the original sky peeking through. (Minor caveat at best.)

One thing I will do ... is view an image at full resolution and scroll around to ensure that no areas were missed. And there are a myriad of ways to approach this creative task in the editing chair, should you not have Photoshop at your disposal.

That said..

Thanks for sharing this one with us. :o)

Yes Billy this is much better..Lack of saturation makes it sharper too,(No colour bleed)..Nice pic..R.

You have deleted the original one Billy, so I can't compare them. But when Sandi and Jerome say that the original one had to much saturation, I believe what they are saying.
To me it's a very nice image with wonderful colors and a relaxing atmosphere. Good (re)work, mate.
Regards, Cornelius.

This is really a fabulous rework Billy. I was hoping to look back at the original but see it's gone. This does look very natural indeed, makes me feel like I'm there taking in the beauty of the scene

Billy - I like this scene a lot. The HDR with milder color saturation is effective. Thad
