This is a windmill just outside of Stratford Ok. I have been wanting to capture it for awhile and today was the first day in a few weeks with decent lighting. I do hope you enjoy it.
Windmill...good! Lighting....good! Colours, contrast and texture....also all good. However, i personally would avoid placing the main subject of your photograph right slap bang in the middle of the scene. If you try to get it just off centre instead then it will make for a much better composition or at least this is the general consensus with many photographers. Its a lovely scene and lovely subject matter and with just a bit of tweaking will go from good to brilliant!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
Good advice from Rachael BTK. You really chose the perfect angle and the grasses against the sky makes a wonderful contrast. We don't have Lighthouses in the Midwest (except when a tornado lifts one off the ground) so we have to settle for Windmills.
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative.

Very well taken, the advice on composing your image was good. Billy you captured this scene so well, and good color, lighting and sharpness. Tigs♥ =^..^=
