I went to the zoo today. While sitting in the gorrilla enclosure this young mountain gorrilla sat down just on the other side of the glass. It was a challenge to get this without someones reflection in the way. Thankyou all for your comments. Each and everyone is appreciated.

Hello Billy....You would think that taking pictures through glass would be easy since glass is clear...The truth is that glass can be a tricky obstacle between you and your subject...Well Billy you have done a grand job photographing this gorrilla through the glass....I like the way you have used selective focus on the eye of your subject, the shot of the eye is so clear showing very good detail....Well done....All the very best to you Billy..........Mick.

As Mick already said above, it could be a rather tough job, but you've succeeded in a wonderful way. The best way to do this, and I suppose you did, is to put your lense against the glass (in a 90° position) in order to prevent disturbing reflections.
Very good 'portrait', of a not impressed 'friend', mate, lol.

You got an outstanding shot here Billy. The longing in those eyes makes me sad as I can well relate to that feeling. Fine work.
