The third in my series. I really could spend months in this one canyon photographing. I have learned since I have been here that the same mountain will look differant in just a few minutes. I hope you all enjoy this one and thankyou all for your comments and critique. It is all appreciated.

Hi, Billy...

I saw this in the VB and have it a 7 or 8, which is very high by my standards. Most of my best shots are lucky to get out of the 50's.

I'm not sure I understand the part in your narrative about the mountain looking different in a few minutes. Has it been promoted to the Himalayas and is going to get up and fly to Tibet? :-)

I looked very closely at this image for flaws and didn't find any noise or oversaturation. As you know I posted a mountain image yesterday and got some really good input from both TicK and Tigs. I tried their suggestion and it made a remarkable difference. I don't have their eye, but you might give this a try in your spare time to see if it does anything to increase the depth of the shot. Don't get me wrong. I like the shot as it is just as I liked my own shot yesterday. Anyway, try adding click or two of contrast, a click of negative gamma, and a half click of saturation. See what you think and let me know. I made a remarkable difference on my posting which I thought was pretty good.

Hope you will not do this, Billy, as it would mean that we wouldn't see a picture from from you for a very long time. That's not acceptable! LOL.

Thanks for this very fine image, my friend.

Regards, Cornelius.

I could spend months there too. I'm retired, so Maybe I will. LOL. I had your other shot on my DT the last couple of days, now I can change to this one for a while. Beautiful again, Billy.

It is a good shot and I especially like the zig zag lines in it. No I am not smoking anything. :) It doesn't need much but a little boost in pizzazz wouldn't do it any harm as Roger suggested. You can pick up some of that at any software store. I prefer the photo a little under pizazzed then over pizazzed.

Billy, this is a well taken shot, and I would be curious how it would look if tried some of what Roger suggested. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Another fine shot Billy. What you heard was true. The shadows and sunlight play around that canyon alot and really do change things up.
