I'm not too fond of panoramas, but this sure is beautiful Billy :) Its really a good comp but I feel it could be a bit sharper. Or maybe I need new glasses...lol

When I see this sort of shape in a posting, I wonder about the story behind the shot. Is this truly a panorama stitched together from 300 shots? Or did you take a much larger photo and just start lopping off large junks. The second scenario might explain the lack of sharpness. Every shot is different. I've received critiques that cover the spectrum of perceived mistakes. I get the sharper image comment when I've over cropped. You know me. I would have sharpened this shot so much that the noise would have been deafening. Then I would have used a de-noiser that would have ruined the sharpness. To compensate for the blurred result I would have oversaturated the shot, hit the -gamma button and +contrast buttons until the shot looked like it was drawn in crayon by a 5 year old with sub par art skills. I see nothing in this posting that bothers me, and I'm not ashamed to say I like it. So there. Phooey on the rest of you.

I like the pano version of this one, nicely done Billy. I might have tried to do a tad of sharpening, and a tad of contrst or gamma adj. just a thought. Tigs♥ =^..^=

It looks good in the pano format BTK. A lot to look at but it looks like two days of hard riding to get it done.
