This is a tunnel in Cheyenne Canyon. It is differant because they just tunneled right through the mountain and then did not finish the walls. They are just plain earth. This is allso my entry to the contest. I hope you all like it and thankyou for your comments.

Very interesting and impressive. I've been walking through a tunnel like this, it's very exiting. Excellent work, Billy.

reading your narrative, does me suppose that using this tunnel can be rather risky/dangerous because of the risk of a collapse during a passage.
Hope that this doesn't happen, because it would mean that the victims would be confrontated with a cruel meaning of emptiness.

Adult: A person who has stopped growing at both ends and is now growing in the middle.
Let's concentrate on the image first, Billy. I really like it. Nice earth tones, contrasts and colors and interesting shadows.
Now, let's concentrate on the idea of this tunnel. WTH!! It doesn't make any sense. Is there no fear of cave ins without concrete support? Is that a jeep trail that leads into the tunnel? Why is there a sign above the tunnel that says only "1"? I have seen some strange sights on Caedes. Heck, there are photographers on here from all over the world that travel to even more distant parts of the world capturing images that I'll never see. This is maybe the strangest thing I've ever seen. I'm sure the locals would think nothing of driving their new Rolls through the tunnel; but to a city boy from Illinois, this is very weird stuff.

Going into a cave and getting lost would sure give me an empty feeling BTK. I really like the coloring and the emptiness the black of the cave suggests.

Just looking at a cave opening makes my pulse quicken. I can well imagine myself standing at the entrance or just inside the opening weighing the pros and cons. I want to go in, but is it worth it? : )
